Muara Naval Base, 04 December 2016 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction with its 51st Anniversary held an annual family day event at RBN Gym, Muara Naval Base.
The event was officiated by Yang Mulia First Admiral Pengiran Dato Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Mohamad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy who was also the guest of honour for the event. The day started off with a mass Zumba Aerobics followed by a 3.6km walkathon.
The aim of the family day is to celebrate and strengthen the closer relations between the RBN officers and personnel, including their family members. This year’s theme ‘One Navy, One Family’ is to appreciate the support of families to serving personnel, military and civilian in the RBN throughout the year.
Other attractions included Birds and Reptiles Exhibition, All Terrain Vehicle Rides and Horse Rides. All those present were also given the opportunity to visit and to have photo shot with the RBN Patrol Vessel 80, KDB DARULEHSAN.
