ANAH JAMBU, Thursday 19 May 2016 – 254 RBN personnel have once again started the rehearsals for the upcoming Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) 55th Anniversary parade which will be held at the new RBAF Defence Academy located at Tanah Jambu. A total of 4 officers and 250 enlisted personnel are expected to represent the ecstatic parade.
The guest of honour for the upcoming RBAF 55th Anniversary will be His Majesty The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Supreme Commander of RBAF.
The RBN parade commander will be led by Commander Nor Ariffin bin Haji Mohd Ali, Acting Fleet Commander RBN, while the contingent commander will be Lieutenant Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, RBN Systems Engineering Officer.
It is a proud moment for the RBN personnel to display their patriotism towards His Majesty during the RBAF 55th Anniversary. Furthermore, it is an opportunity for RBN to display itself as a highly professional navy.
The rehearsals would typically be conducted 2 weeks prior to the actual event to ensure its utmost precision and discipline.
