MUARA, Wednesday 31 May 2017 - In conjunction of the 56th Anniversary of RBAF, Doa Kesyukuran was held today at the prayer hall of the Royal Brunei Navy, Surau Al-Huda. The Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Commander Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Fleet Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah An-Nisa, verses 90 to 95 by 18976 Able Rate Ak Md Nazirul bin Pg Hj Hanafi, RBN.
Following the event was the mass Zuhur prayer and recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil. The main intention of this event is to express highest gratitude towards Allah (s.w.t) for another year for the establishment of RBAF. Out of the event, it is emphasised that Allah (s.w.t) do not force people to believe in him, but wants people to choose faith and the teachings of their own will and choice. Even so, Allah (s.w.t) has brought a guide who can be a guide to mankind, namely the nature and sense of self in persons originating from within itself, and through the teachings of the prophets sent.
Everyone is entitled to make their choice – be it the path of truth or error and on the Day of Resurrection, he will be questioned and asked to his accountability for the way that they choose.
