MUARA, Friday 26 May 2017 - A ceremony for the distribution of ‘Kurma Kurnia Peribadi’ or personal gift of dates from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan 1438/2017 for personnel under the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the RBN Surau Al-Huda.
The ceremony began with the recital of the Surah Yassin and Tahlil to pay respects to late relatives of RBN personnel and followed by RBN Charity Donations to the respective RBN personnel by the RBN Commander.
The RBN Commander then presented the ‘Kurma Kurnia Peribadi’ to the Heads of Departments under the administration of RBN. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of the RBN.
