Berakas, Wednesday 28 January 2015 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held an Inter-Unit Hockey Tournament at Hockey Field, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Complex.The main objective of the tournament were to foster an interest to RBN personnel on hockey game and concurrently selecting potential players to represent RBN for RBAF Hockey tournament 2014 which will be held in February.
Four teams were playing representing the main units of RBN namely BASE A, BASE B, FLEET and combination of SUPPORT SQUADRON & NAVAL SURFACE ACTION GROUP (NSAG).
The game were played in a knock out system and SUPPORT SQUADRON & NSAG won the final match in a penalty against FLEET after a draw in a fulltime match, while BASE B in the third place.Lt Kol (L) Hj Yusof Masron, RBN Fleet Commander as the guest of honour presented the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
