Muara, Friday 30 March 2018 – The welfare of personnel and their families is held in high precedence by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). In an effort towards this, RBN held a Recitation of the Surah Yassin and Tahlil ceremony for 10 personnel of RBN today at Surau Al-Huda, RBN.The guest of honour for the ceremony was Captain Hj Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.
The ceremony commenced with a recitation of surah Al-Fatihah, recitation of Surah Yaasin, Tahlil and Doa led by Imam Andy, Imam Surau Al-Huda. On top of that, each of the personnel were handed over a donation in the form of cash from the RBN Welfare Fund.
With an event such as this, RBN aims to thrive towards instilling a caring philosophy for its personnel and their families, which, in the long run, will boost the spirit of esprit de corps thus creating a solid foundation for the organisation.
