MUARA, Thursday 15 June 2017 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Nuzul Al-Quran ceremony at Surau Al-Huda to commemorate the revelation of the Holy Al-Quran. Present as the guest of honour was Acting Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Othman Bin Haji Suhaily@Suhaili.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 183-186 which was recited by 13007 W02 Aliuddin Bin Haji Sarbini, RBN and followed by mass Zohor prayer, which was led by the guest of honor himself.
After the mass Zohor prayer, a religious lecture title “Al-Quran Teman Ku Menceriakan Hidup Ku” was delivered by Ustaz Abd Rahman Bin Haji Ajak, lecturer from Islamic Da’wah Center, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Brunei Darussalam.
Nuzul Al-Quran is one of the highlights of the Islamic holy month of Ramadhan. The Al-Quran is one of the greatest miracles where the revelation of Al-Quran were done in phases according to events, activities and time to Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu’Alaihi Wassalam (S.A.W).
