MUARA, Tuesday, 24 October 2017 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad received an introductory call from the new Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar accredited to Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Sann Nyant Oo.
During the call, the Commander of RBN welcome the Defence Attaché and congratulate him on his new appointment. RBN Commander also expressed his appreciation for the warm and friendly bilateral defence relations between the two countries. The Defence Services of the Republic Union of Myanmar have been supportive of defence and military events hosted in Brunei Darussalam. This includes their participation through multilateral exercises under the ADMM and ADMM-Plus platforms.
Colonel Sann Nyant Oo became Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar accredited to Brunei Darussalam on 11 January 2017, taking over from Colonel Htin Kyaw Thu.
