Thursday, 10 April 2014 – Pakistan Navy ship PNS SHAMSHEER (252) arrived in Brunei Darussalam for a three-day Goodwill Visit. The 123m ship is commanded by Captain Rashed Zafar. The ship was received by Lieutenant Colonel (L) Rozalan bin Sable, Commanding Officer of Logistic, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), officers, personnel and band of the RBN.
 
PNS SHAMSHEER which berthed at the Muara commercial wharf will be open to public for visit on Friday 11th April 2014 from 2.30 pm until 6 pm. After leaving Muara, she is scheduled to join Multilateral Maritime Exercise in Qingdao, China next week.
 
The warship which was commissioned in December 2009 has been in Brunei Darussalam and participated in the International Fleet Review 2011 in conjunction with the BRIDEX 2011 event.
 
PNS SHAMSHEER is one of the ZULFIQUAR Class frigates of the Pakistan Navy and she is planned to depart on Saturday, 12th April 2014.
