MUARA, Tuesday, 3rd April 2018 – Outgoing Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Nguyen Van Son, and incoming Defence Attaché to Brunei Darussalam, Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Son today paid a courtesy call to First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi Bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).During the call, both incoming and outgoing Defence Attaché were welcomed by the Commander of RBN and held cordial discussions on a range of matters of mutual interests and bilateral importance.
Commander of RBN also congratulated the incoming Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam on his upcoming appointment and looked forward to work closely with him during his upcoming tenure in Brunei Darussalam. He also extended his appreciation to the outgoing Defence Attaché for his cooperation and contribution during his service in Brunei Darussalam. Commander of RBN also reaffirmed the friendly bilateral defence and military relations that Brunei Darussalam and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have.
Towards the end of the courtesy call, Commander of RBN presented a memento to Colonel Nguyen Van Son the outgoing Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation.
Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Son, the incoming Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam will begin his term on 11 April 2018.
