EXERCISE HELANG LAUT 21B/24 INITIAL PLANNING CONFERENCE

MUARA, Monday, 03 June 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Indonesian Navy (IDN) have successfully conducted the Initial Planning Conference (IPC) for Exercise HELANG LAUT 21B/24. The IPC  was held at the Naval Training Centre hosted by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), which welcomed four officers from the IDN, namely namely Commander Mohammad Homsin, Staff Officer for Exercise, IDN HQ, as the Head of the IDN Delegation, with him were: Lieutenant Commander Andhika Dian Sidik Permana, Staff Officer for Exercise, IDN HQ, Lieutenant Commander Faishal Ramandalush Assany, Staff Officer for Exercise, IDN HQ and Lieutenant Commander Agung Ridwan Haryanto, Staff Officer For Exercise, Second fleet command.

RBN SHIPS SAIL FOR RIM OF THE PACIFIC 2024 EXERCISE

​MUARA, Tuesday, 04 June 2024 – KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN, led by Lieutenant Commander Haji Mohammad Arnold bin Haji Osman, RBN, and Commander Ade Roddiane bin Hj Mohd Rosdi, RBN, respectively, embarked on a 77-day deployment to participate in Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) in Hawaii, USA.

JS KASHIMA AND JS SHIMAKAZE OF JAPAN MARITIME SELF-DEFENSE FORCE (JMSDF) MADE A GOODWILL VISIT TO NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

​MUARA, Sunday, 2 June 2024 -The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently welcomed two ships from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), JS SHIMAKAZE and JS KASHIMA, on a goodwill visit to Negara Brunei Darussalam from 30 May to 2 June 2024. The visit was led by Rear Admiral Nishiyama Takahiro, Commander of the Japan Training Squadron. This visit aimed to strengthen ties and foster cooperation between the JMSDF and the Royal Brunei Navy.
