BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY 59TH ANNIVERSARY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 8 August 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) organised a blood donation campaign at the Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’, and Petty Officers’ Mess to commemorate the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) 59th Anniversary where a total of 58 personnel participated this year.
RBN HALF MARATHON AND A 10KM RACE 2024
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 8 August 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) organised a Half-Marathon and 10km Race with participation from all officers and personnel. Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Muhammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, members of the RBN Board Executive, senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PARTICIPATES IN RIADAH BERBASIKAL KEPUTERAAN 2024
Bandar Seri Begawan, 04 August 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy participated in the Riadah Berbasikal Keputeraan 2024 led by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. Accompanying His Majesty were members of the royal family. The cycling recreation was to mark the monarch’s 78th birthday celebration.
RBN HELD MUSABAQAH AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RBAF 63RD ANNIVERSARY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 01 August 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the culmination of its Musabaqah Al-Quran competition with a prize presentation ceremony today at the Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre. The event was held in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary.
BASE DEFENCE COURSE PARTICIPANTS TRIUMPH IN OBSTACLE CHALLENGE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 01 August 2024 – The Basic Base Defence Course Series 01/2024 for Officers and Other Ranks concluded the Obstacle Challenge, an intensive 8km exercise designed to test and assess leadership, command, and control capabilities. Participants navigated through a demanding course, demonstrating their ability to effectively manage and maneuver under pressure. This rigorous exercise was instrumental in evaluating the leadership skills, physical and strategic skills of the officers and other ranks involved.
GOODWILL VISIT BY VIETNAM PEOPLE’S NAVY TALL SHIP, 286 LE QUY DON
MUARA, Thursday 01 August 2024 – The Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) Sailing Ship, 286 LE QUY DON was in Negara Brunei Darussalam for a three-day visit from 29 July to 1 August 2024.
