The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Joins National Procession for Maulud Nabi 1446H

​Bandar Seri Begawan, Monday, 16 September 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the national Maulud Nabi procession and mass gathering alongside His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The main event was held at Taman Haji Sir Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, while other processions and mass gatherings took place simultaneously across other districts. The Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) participation underscores their commitment to upholding the nation’s religious values through this significant occasion.

Fleet Commanders Conference 2024 Convenes in Darwin, Australia

​DARWIN, AUSTRALIA, TUESDAY, 10 SEPTEMBER 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was represented by Fleet Commander Captain Sahibul Bahri bin Haji Zainal Abidin at the Fleet Commanders Conference 2024, held from 9th to 12th September 2024 in conjunction with Exercise Kakadu. The conference, hosted by Rear Admiral Chris Smith, Commander of Australian Fleet (COMAUSFLT) brought together naval leaders from 39 countries to discuss key issues related to Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) within the Indo-Pacific region.

The meeting was co-chaired by Commander Mohammad Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Navy, alongside Captain Mohd Husni bin Aris, Director of International Relations of RMN Headquarters.​

Peachtree Playhouse School Visits Royal Brunei Navy

Muara Naval Base, Thursday, September 05, 2024 – “A day of exploration, music and career discovery” The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted an educational visit from Peachtree Playhouse, welcoming 80 students, teachers, and parents to explore RBN facilities. The group was greeted by the Naval Training Centre and enjoyed a performance by the Royal Brunei Navy Band, with opportunities to play instruments like the ‘gulintangan’ and conduct the band. The visit featured interactive displays of Navy assets and equipment. The day concluded with a group photo outside the RBN patrol vessel KDB DARULAMAN.​
