EMPOWERING RBN PERSONNEL – A TALK ON IDENTITY AND WORK LIFE BALANCE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 09 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a motivational talk entitled “Identity as a Military Personnel” at the Dewan Nakhoda, Naval Training Center (PLTL) which was delivered by the guest speaker, Cikgu Haji Ali Yusri bin Hj Abd Ghafor. Those present at the event consisted of male RBN officers where Captain Sahibul Bahri bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Fleet Commander RBN was present as the Guest of Honour.
RBAF HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIP AND 10KM RACE 2024
PENANJONG GARISSON, Thursday, 17 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) marked another milestone in the annual Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Half Marathon Championship and 10km Race 2024 held at the Mini Stadium, Penanjong Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the RBAF. Also in attendance were Services Commanders, Acting Service Commander, Acting Joint Force Commander, Senior Officers, RBAF officers and personnel.
BENGKEL KESEMPURNAAN SEMBAHYANG CONDUCTED ONBOARD KDB DARULAMAN
Muara Naval Base, Tuesday, 15 October 2024 – A total of 83 personnel from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, comprising 54 participants and 29 instructors, participated in the Prayer Workshop (Bengkel Kesempurnaan Sembahyang), which was held at KDB DARULAMAN on Tuesday, 15 October 2024.
The Royal Brunei Navy and Philippine Navy successfully completed Maritime Training Activity SEAGULL 09/2024
Muara Naval Base, Monday, 7 October 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Philippine Navy (PN) successfully concluded Maritime Training Activity SEAGULL 09/2024, held from 7th to 11th October 2024. This bilateral exercise aimed to enhance cooperation and interoperability between the two navies, reaffirming their shared commitment to regional security and stability.
RBN Acting Commander Strengthens Regional Maritime Cooperation at 18th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting
Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, 10 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Acting Commander, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, represented Brunei Darussalam at the 18th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting (ANCM) hosted by the Myanmar Navy from 9-12 October 2024. The meeting, officiated by General Maung Maung Aye, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, and Air), focused on strengthening regional maritime security and cooperation.
Royal Brunei Navy Senior Officers Promoted
Bolkiah Garrison, Friday, 04 October 2024 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a promotion ceremony was held at the Bolkiah Garrison Officers’ Mess.
