RBN DISTRIBUTES BACK-TO-SCHOOL DONATIONS
MUARA, Friday, 27 December 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has distributed “Back to School” donations to identified personnel, comprising schoolbooks and stationery for their children, in anticipation of the new school term in Brunei. A total of 19 families benefited from the assistance.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY SHIPS EMBARK ON DEPLOYMENT AND ROADSHOW IN KUALA BELAIT IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 59TH ANNIVERSARY
KUALA BELAIT, Saturday, 21 December 2024 – Three (03) Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) ships, KDB AFIAT, KDB MUSTAED, and KDB SERASA, have set sail for a two-day roadshow at MPABD, Kuala Belait, to engage with the local community and showcase the Navy’s capabilities and career opportunities.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR THE NAVAL ENGINEERING OFFICERS COURSE (NEOC) 2024
NAVAL TRAINING CENTRE – Friday, 20th December 2024 – The closing ceremony for the Naval Engineering Officers Course (NEOC) 2024, involving three (03) young officers, was held at Dewan Nakhoda, Naval Training Centre (NTC).
ACTING COMMANDER RBN GRACED PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES MALE RECRUITS OF THE 175TH INTAKE AND FEMALE RECRUITS OF THE 59TH INTAKE
PENANJONG GARRISON, 20 December 2024 – The Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) commemorated the successful completion of Basic Military Training for 124 male recruits of the 175th Intake and 46 female recruits of the 59th Intake. The ceremony, held at the Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison, was graced by Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, as the Guest of Honour.
RBN OFFICERS AWARDED THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY COMMAND BADGE
MUARA, Wednesday, 18 December 2024 – Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Amiel Azim bin Haji Afflon, RBN, CO KDB AFIAT and Lieutenant Dk Nur Bahirah binti Pg Hj Abdul Rahman, RBN, CO KDB MUSTAED were awarded the Royal Brunei Navy Command Badge. The badges were presented by the guest of honour, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.
FAMILY DAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBN’S 59TH ANNIVERSARY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Sunday, 15 December 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted a Family Day in conjunction with its 59th anniversary. It was a day filled with joy, love, and gratitude, where everyone came together as one big family. Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of RBN and his spouse, led the event as the Guest of Honour.
