INAUGURAL ENGINEERING AND LOGISTICS EXCHANGE PROGRAM (ELEP) 2025 CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY
Muara, Thursday, 16 January 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) concluded the inaugural Engineering and Logistics Exchange Program (ELEP) 2025, held from 13 to 16 January 2025 in Brunei. The program was officiated by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Hj Ibrahim, Commandant of Support Services.
RBN FEMALE SAILORS ANNUAL GET TOGETHER EVENT
Airport Mall Berakas, Saturday, January 11 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Female Officers and Personnel hosted the annual Majlis Ramah Mesra 2023/2024 at London Hall, Airport Mall Berakas. The event was graced by the presence of Yang Mulia Lieutenant Commander Suzalina binti Haji Serbini as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were all female officers and personnel of the RBN.
CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY FOR THE COMMANDER OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Friday, 10 January 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin RBN took over the helm of command of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) from Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the outgoing 13th Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy at a Change of Command Ceremony this morning at Muara Naval Base.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 7 January 2025 – The unveiling ceremony for fleet ships and departments’ crests was held at Jetty Bravo, Muara Naval Base. Present as Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander RBN.

HAI PHONG, REPUBLIC SOCIALIST OF VIETNAM, Thursday, 26 December 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), led by Fleet Commander Captain Sahibul Bahari Hj Zainal Abidin, RBN, successfully participated in the 3rd Navy-to-Navy Talks with the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN). This engagement marks a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral defence relations and fostering maritime cooperation between the two navies.
