EX-BRITISH LOAN SERVICE OFFICER REMINISCE HIS MEMORIES IN ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY AFTER 36 YEARS
Thursday, 13 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was honoured to welcome back Edward Ball, a former British Loan Service officer who served as a Dental Officer from 1987 to 1989. Returning after 36 years, he reminisced about his time in service and admired the remarkable growth and transformation of the RBN.

MUARA, Thursday, 13 February 2025 – The Ministry of Defence held a Nisfu Sya’aban 1446 Hijrah event simultaneously across all Ministry of Defence and RBAF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the focal event at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base.

Berakas, Friday, 7 February 2025 – The “Jasamu Dikenang” Appreciation Ceremony for members of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Warrant Officers, Chief Petty Officers, and Petty Officers Mess for the year 2025 was held at the Main Conference Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC). The event was organised to honour the contributions and dedicated service of retired Mess members who have completed their tenure in the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, 7 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) demonstrated a strong performance at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Swimming and Water Polo Championship 2024/2025, held from 3 to 7 February 2025 at the Sports Complex in Rimba Air Force Base.

Jakarta, Tuesday, 4 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) delegation was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian Navy (IDN) at Wisma Elang Laut, Jakarta, for the 9th iteration of the Naval Working Group (NWG) Meeting. This engagement underscores the longstanding defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Indonesia, reaffirming both navies’ commitment to enhancing maritime cooperation and regional security.
