FLAG LOWERING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’S 41st NATIONAL DAY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 25 February 2025 - Brunei Darussalam’s giant-sized national flag, which had been hoisted since 15 February 2025, was ceremoniously lowered to mark the conclusion of the hoisting period in conjunction with the nation’s 41st National Day celebration. The event took place near Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The ‘Kurma Kurnia Peribadi,’ or dates bestowed as a personal gift from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, was presented in conjunction with Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN MULTILATERAL NAVAL EXERCISE KOMODO (MNEK) 2025 SEAPHASE ABOARD KRI DR.RADJIMAN WEDYODININGRAT
BALI, INDONESIA, Saturday, 22 February 2025 – Two officers from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Lieutenant Commander Aliashim bin Alias, Commanding Officer of KDB DARUTTAQWA, and Lieutenant Commander Aiezuddin bin Haji Julaini, Principal Warfare Officer of KDB DARUTTAQWA, recently participated in the seaphase of the Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK) 2025 aboard KRI Dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (RJW). This phase of the exercise, held in international waters, brought together naval representatives from various nations to observe and engage in coordinated maritime operations.
