EXERCISE PLANNING CONFERENCE EXERCISE SEMBILANG 11/14
Multi National Coordination Center, Muara. 2nd July 2014 – The Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Sembilang Exercise series 11/14 was held at the Multi National Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara. Sembilang Exercise is an annual exercise, alternately hosted between Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Royal Brunei Police Force Marine Police (RBPF MARPOL).
RIMPAC EXERCISE LAUNCH KICKSTARTS HARBOUR PHASE
US NAVAL BASE, PEARL HARBOUR, HAWAII. Monday, 30 June 2014 – The RIMPAC Opening and Exercise Launch took place this morning at the Ford Island Conference Centre, US Naval Base in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii. The Opening and Exercise Launch was officiated by the Commander Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT) United States Navy, Admiral Harry B. Harris, as the guest of honour.
U.S. PACIFIC FLEET COMMANDER ON-BOARD KDB DARUSSALAM
Hawaii, Friday, June 27 2014 , An Official Luncheon hosted by the delegation of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction with the Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014 was held on-board KDB DARUSSALAM at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, USA. Present as special guest was Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr. Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
INTAKE 11 NAVAL CADETS UNDERGOING SPECIAL TO SERVICE TERM
Having gone through the junior and senior term in Officer Cadet School(OCS) Sungai Akar, it was finally time for the Navy Officer Cadets to enter their Special to Service term. The officer cadets of intake 11; 50577 OCDT Awangku Badaruddin bin Seri Jaya, 50582 OCDT Haji Norfaizul bin Haji Morni, 50587 OCDT Muhammad Adib bin Haji Amdan and 50588 OCDT Muhammad Nuh bin Haji Moksin begin their 15 week STS training.

RBN DEPUTY COMMANDER CO-CHAIRED 8TH MEETING OF THE ADMM-PLUS EWG MARITIME SECURITY
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, Thursday 26 June 2014 – The Eight Meeting of the ADMM-Plus Experts’ Working Group (EWG) on Maritime Security was held at The Pullman Hotel, Auckland, New Zealand. This Meeting is the first meeting of the ADMM-Plus Maritime Security in its second cycle of 2014 – 2017 under the co-chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand.
