11 COURSE PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE GENERAL MECHANIC 141/2018 CERTIFICATES
MUARA, Friday, 05 October 2018 – A total of 11 personnel of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) had successfully completed the General Mechanic (GM) 141/2018 career course and the closing ceremony for this course was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre, RBN.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF INSTRUCTOR COURSE BATCH 3/2018
MUARA, Friday, 05 October 2018– The Instructor Course Batch 3/2018 was conducted by Royal Brunei Technical Services – Defense Conseil International (RBTS-DCI) Services & Assistance NAVFCO Department (DCI-NAVFCO) and concluded with a closing ceremony held at Samudera Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC) at Muara Naval Base. Present as the guest of honor was the Commandant of Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN.
KDB DARUTTAQWA ENDS GOODWILL VISIT TO REPUBLIC SOCIALIST OF VIETNAM
TIEN SA PORT, SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM, Thursday, 04 October 2018 – KDB DARUTTAQWA (DTQ) today ended its two days goodwill visit to Da Nang, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The aim of the visit was to further strengthen bilateral ties between both nations and provide the opportunity for RBN personnel and Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) personnel to interact through interaction programs such as the Young Officer’s interaction program and ship visits.
KDB DARUTTAQWA GOODWILL VISIT TO DA NANG CITY
TIEN SA PORT, SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM, Wednesday, 03 October 2018 – KDB DARUTTAQWA (DTQ) safely arrived yesterday for a goodwill visit at Da Nang City, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Present at the welcoming ceremony for the arrival were Defence Attaché of Brunei Darussalam, Lt Col Omar Shariff bin Hidop and representative from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to Vietnam along with representatives from Foreign Affairs Department of Da Nang City, Da Nang City People’s Committee, Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) Headquarters, Military Zone 5, Military Command of Da Nang City, Border Guard of Da Nang, Foreign Relations Department from Vietnam Ministry of Defence. It then continued on with ship’s tour for the official attendees from Brunei Darussalam and Socialist Republic of Vietnam onboard DTQ.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY WINS THE RBAF FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND CUP 2018
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 03 October 2018 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Football Team emerged as champions of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Football League 2018 after edging the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) 2-1 in a thrilling match held at the Mini Stadium, Bolkiah Garisson.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF BASIC NAVAL DIVING COURSE 2018
MUARA, Monday, 01 October 2018 – Thirteen personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy comprising of 2 officers and 11 junior rates successfully completed their Basic Naval Diving Course for 2018. The 6 weeks course was handled by the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) Naval Training Centre (NTC) from the 17th of August until the 28th of September 2018 in Muara Camp.
