14 RBN OFFICERS PROMOTED
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 7 December 2018 - By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 68 RBAF officers includes 14 officers from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were promoted to the next rank in a ceremony that took place at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
RBN COMMANDER RECEIVED FAREWELL CALL FROM DEFENCE ADVISER OF AUSTRALIA TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Thursday, 06 December 2018 – First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, RBN, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a farewell call from Colonel David Hay, Defence Adviser of Australia accredited to Brunei Darussalam this afternoon. Acompanying Colonel David Hay, was Captain Richard Anthony Caton, RAN, the incoming Australian Defence Adviser.
MALAYSIA’S CHIEF OF DEFENCE FORCE INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Tuesday, 04 December 2018 – The Chief of Malaysian Armed Forces, Yang Berbahagia General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Zainal Abidin and delegation visited Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) as part of his three-day visit to Negara Brunei Darussalam.
16th RBAF– SAF JUNIOR OFFICERS’ INTERACTION PROGRAMME IN SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 29 November – 1 December 2018 – The 16th Royal Brunei Armed Forces – Singapore Armed Forces Junior Interaction Programme (RBAF-SAF JIP) was held in the Republic of Singapore from 28 November to 1 December 2018. The programme was participated by a delegation of 20 officers from the RBAF which also consists of 8 officers from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), the RBAF delegation was led by Commander Mohd Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY EMERGED AS CHAMPION OF ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES DIKIR SYARAFIL ANAM COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW MAULUD CELEBRATION FOR 1440H
BERAKAS GARISON, Friday, 30 November 2018 – Al-Bahriyah Group from the Royal Brunei Navy was awarded the champion of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Dikir Syarafil Anam competition which was held in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad SAW Maulud celebration for 1440H, organised by the Religious Department RBAF (JAMA’AT). The runner-up of the competition Al-Hikmah Group from Training Institute RBAF, whereas the third place went to Asy-Syuja’ah Group from Special Forces Regiment RBAF. The winning team was presented with a trophy, souvenirs, cash prize, and certificates of participation.
RBN COMMANDER ATTENDS CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE JUNIOR STAFF COURSE 2018
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 30 November 2018 - Sixty officers completed the Junior Staff Course (JSC) 2018 at the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) today. The course comprised of 52 local officers from the RBAF, 1 officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and 7 military officer from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
