ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY WELCOMES 17 NEW RECRUITS FOLLOWING PASSING OUT PARADE
PENANJONG GARRISON, FRIDAY, 19 DECEMBER 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continues its efforts to strengthen and sustain its manpower with the successful completion of training by 17 new recruits during the Passing Out Parade Ceremony held at the Parade Square, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison. The ceremony marks an important step in the Navy’s ongoing personnel development programme, as the newly trained recruits prepare to formally commence their service in support of the RBN’s operational readiness and long-term force sustainability.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY YEAR-END PARADE 2018
MUARA, Friday, 21 December 2018 – The Year-End Parade was held by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) at the RBN Parade Square this year with Lieutenant Commander Malai Haszahrin bin Malai Yusof, RBN as the parade commander. Present as the guest of honour was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN AT ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Monday, 17 December 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a blood donation campaign in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 57th Anniversary at Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base.
RBN BAKTI CHARITY VISIT
BRUNEI MUARA, Friday, 14 December 2018 - The Welfare Body of Wives of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel (BAKTI) visited two members of BAKTI, Lieutenant Umi Atul Nur’Afiqah binti Ali Hassan, wife to Lieutenant Junior Grade Hj Ahmad Ahdaa bin Hj Ahmad, RBN at Kampong Tungku and Mardiana binti Haji Majid, wife to Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohd Adib Faliq bin Mohamad, RBN at Kampong Muara. The visit was led by the President of BAKTI Muara Base, Pengiran Datin Noralam binti Pengiran Haji Kahar with other BAKTI members.
JOINT GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR NAVAL EXPLOSIVES ORDNANCE DISPOSAL
CAVITE CITY, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Wednesday, 12 December 2018 – A joint graduation ceremony for Naval Explosives Ordnance Disposal (NEOD) Class 16 and Special Boat Operators Course (SBOC) Class 3 which was attended by 2 Royal Brunei Navy officers, Lieutenant Ak Muhd Rajaie bin Pg Razali, RBN and Lieutenant Junior Grade Muhammad Nuh bin Haji Moksin, RBN. The ceremony was held at the Naval Special Operations Group (NAVSOG) open court. The guest of honour who officiate the ceremony was Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad, Flag Officer in Command Philippine Navy (PN).
INDONESIAN NAVY DEPART BRUNEI DARUSSALAM AFTER GOODWILL VISIT
MUARA, Tuesday, 11 December 2018 – The Indonesian Navy ships, namely KRI I GUSTI NGURAH RAI – 332 and KRI BUNG TOMO -357 bids farewell to Brunei Darussalam after goodwill visit that commenced on Saturday, 8 December 2018 until Tuesday, 11 December 2018.
