RBN Participates in MARISX 2019
RSS SINGAPURA, Changi Naval Base – Wednesday, 15 May 2019 – The Information Fusion Centre (IFC) of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) conducted the Maritime Information Sharing Exercise (MARISX 2019) which was held from Monday, 13 May 2019 and concluded on 15 May 2019. The bi-annual exercise is a scenario-driven maritime security (MARSEC) exercise involving navies, maritime enforcement agencies and shipping communities. Representing the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) during the exercise was Lt Ahmad Zubair bin Abd Nasir, RBN International Liaison Officer at IFC RSN meanwhile the RBN Naval Operation Cell (NOC) also took part online via the new web-based portal IFC Real-time Information sharing System (IRIS).
TAHLIL CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 58TH ANNIVERSARY AND RAMADHAN 1440 HIJRAH
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 14 May 2019 – A recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil ceremony for the late parents of His Majesty the Sultan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman was held this morning by Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction to the RBAF 58th Anniversary.

KDB DARUTTAQWA ARRIVES IN CHANGI NAVAL BASE AFTER COMPLETING SEA PHASE OF ADMM PLUS EXERCISE
CHANGI NAVAL BASE (CNB), REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Monday, 13 May 2019 – Yesterday evening, KDB DARUTTAQWA had safely arrived at Changi Naval Base, Republic of Singapore after a 12 day’s journey from Busan, Republic of Korea and completing the sea phase of ADMM Plus Field Training Exercise 1 and 2 (FTX 1 & 2). Yesterday afternoon, KDB DARUTTAQWA had participated in the last serial for the ADMM-Plus EWG on MS FTX 2 which was Compliant Boarding onboard MV AVATAR. Participating units include boarding teams from INS KOLKATA, KDB DARUTTAQWA, ROKS WANG GEON and RSS STALWART. KDB DARUTTAQWA safely came alongside CNB in the evening at 2047H.
RBN HOLDS CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT MUSLIM CEMETERIES
BRUNEI MUARA, Friday, 10 May 2019 – Officers and personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a cleaning campaign at several Muslim cemeteries in Brunei Muara and Tutong districts namely, Kg Pulaie, Kg Belimbing, Kg Telisai and Kg Terunjing.

TUTONG, Friday, 10 May 2019 – A personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), 51977 Ordinary Rate (OD) Edi Jul Hanipah bin Jefry, RBN recited his Islamic oath at his grandfather’s residence in Kampong Sungai Damit, Mukim Ukong, Tutong today.
