TWO FOREIGN FISHING TRAWLERS APPREHENDED FOR ILLEGAL FISHING
MUARA, Monday, 9 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy Ship KDB DARULAMAN apprehended two foreign trawlers conducting illegal fishing activities in Brunei Darussalam’s waters. Both trawlers were first sighted at 0945H in the vicinity of Magpie Oilfield on Sunday, 8 September 2019.
KULIAH SUBUH IN COMMEMORATION OF MAAL HIJRAH 1441 AT SURAU AL HUDA, RBN
MUARA, Friday, 06 September 2019 – In conjunction with the Maal Hijrah 1441 celebration, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Maal Hijrah Ceremony during its monthly “Kuliah Subuh” lecture at Surau Al – Huda, RBN. Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Pengiran Mohamad bin Pengiran Haji Damit, Acting Commander of RBN. Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and personnel.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia. Thurday, 05 September 2019 - First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and delegations were in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a three-days introductory visit from 04 – 06 September 2019.
INAUGURAL ASEAN – US MARITIME EXERCISE (AUMX) 2019 OPENING CEREMONY HELD AT THAILAND
THAILAND, Monday, 2 September 2019 – The inaugural ASEAN – US Maritime Exercise (AUMX) 2019 Opening Ceremony was held at Sattahip Naval Base, Thailand. The ceremony was Co-officiated by Rear Admiral Sompong, AUMX Task Commander and Vice Admiral Whitesell, Deputy US Pacific Command (US PACOM). The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was represented by Commander Haji Nor Ariwwin bin Haji Ali, the senior representative of RBN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY SUPPORT BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 1 September 2019 – Officers and personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) supported the Blood Donation Campaign held at the Serambi Suluh Hall, Tarindak D’Seni in Bandar Seri Begawan. Present during the campaign was Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERVISORY COURSE SERIES 02/2019 CLOSING CEREMONY
MUARA, Thursday, 30 August 2019 – The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Supervisory Course Series 02/2019 was conducted jointly by the Inspectorate Unit (IU) RBAF and the Naval Inspectorate Cell (NIC) of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). The closing ceremony was held today at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC), RBN.
