ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVES HIGH-LEVEL DELEGATION FROM 7TH YOUNG LEADERS’ PROGRAMME
MUARA, Friday, 4 October 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today received a high-level delegation led by His Excellency Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Republic of Singapore who is currently in the country for the 7th Young Leaders’ Programme.

RIMBA AIR BASE, Monday, 30 September 2019 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam made a working visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at Rimba Air Base and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) at Muara Camp today.
RBN AND PLA-NAVY TRAINING SHIP QI JIGUANG PERSONNEL HELD A BEACH CLEANING CHAMPAIGN
MUARA, Saturday, 28 September 2019 - A total of 60 personnel from the RBN and the PLA-Navy participated in a Community Relation (COMREL) bech cleaning activity in Muara Beach in order to promote a clean environment and team building amongst the personnel.
DONATION CEREMONY HELD AT SURAU AL-HUDA, RBN
MUARA, Friday, 27 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a donation ceremony this morning for RBN personnel who have lost a close relatives at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
GOODWILL VISIT BY PLA-NAVY TRAINING SHIP, QI JI GUANG TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Friday, 27 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received the arrival of PLA-NAVY Training Ship, Qi Jiguang at the Muara Commercial Wharf. The ship was greeted by officers, other ranks and the RBN Band lead by Captain Norshahrinizam bin Haji Talib, Fleet Commader of Royal Brunei Navy. The 5-days visit to Brunei Darussalam started from the 27 – 30 September 2019. The Head of Delegation onboard Qi Jiguang was Rear Adrmiral Yu Wenbing, Political Commissar of Dalian Naval Acacdemy together with four of his delegations including Qi Jiguang Commanding Officer, Captain You Fei and a total of 549 personnels and 358 midshipman onboard.
RBN SAILING TEAM REPRESENTS THE RBAF SPORT COUNCIL IN THE INAUGURAL BRUNEI DARUSSALAM YACHTING ASSOCIATION (BDYA) SAILING CHAMPIONSHIP 2019
SERASA, Friday, 20th September to Sunday, 22nd September 2019 – The Inaugural BDYA Sailing Championship 2019 was held at the Serasa Beach. A total of 50 registered participants from Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Sarawak as well as Peninsular Malaysia competed in this championship event, which was held from Friday, 20 September until Sunday, 22 September 2019. BDYA President Dato Paduka Haji Idris bin Haji Abas explained the objective of the sailing championship is “to promote water sports in Brunei Darussalam, especially for the youth. This is our mission. In the future, we are planning to host roadshows and also encourage schools to establish their own sailing club.”
