ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY TO PARTICIPATE AT RIMPAC 2020
HONOLULU, HAWAII, Friday, 6 December 2019 - The US 3rd Fleet hosted the Mid Planning Conference (MPC) for Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2020 (RIMPAC 2020) at Ford Island Conference Centre at Ford Island, Hawaii from 3rd to 6th December 2019. The Mid-Planning Conference was chaired by Vice Admiral Scott D. Conn, Commander of the US 3rd Fleet and attended by delegations of the Royal Brunei Navy.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE INTERMEDIATE WEAPON AND MARINE ME-CHANIC M2 SERIES 02/2019
MUARA, Friday, 06 December 2019 - The closing ceremony and ceritifcate presentation for the Intermediate Weapon and Marine Mechanic M2 Series 2019 was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC). A total of 23 participants attended the 11 month course, which commenced on January 14, 2019.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVED WORKING VISIT FROM DEFENCE ATTACHÉ/ADVISERS
MUARA, Thursday, 5 December 2019 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a working visit from Brunei Darussalam Defence Attachés / Advisers to foreign countries and Resident Defence Attachés / Advisers to Brunei Darussalam. The delegation consists of a total of 13 Defence Advisers / Attachés, with 7 Defence Advisers to foreign countries and 6 Defence Adviser / Attachés are accredited to Brunei Darussalam. The working visit was hosted by Captain Pengiran Mohamad bin Pengiran Haji Damit, RBN, Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.
CLOSING CEREMONY AND FINAL ASSESSMENT OF THE BASIC COOK AND STEWARD COURSE 2019
MUARA, Wednesday, 4 December 2019 - The closing ceremony and final assessment of the Basic Cook and Steward Course 2019 was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC). Present as the Guest of Honor was Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN, Chief of Staff. Also in attendance were RBN officers, personnels and the course instructors.
RBN RECEIVES WORKING VISIT FROM MARABURONG PRISON DEPARTMENT
MUARA, Monday, 2 December 2019 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a working visit from the Maraburong Prison Department. The group consisted of 21 personnel led by Prison Supervisor Superintendent Salman bin Siggar, Officer Commanding Maraburong Prison Phase 1.
