RBN ATTENDS NAVAL MEDICINE SEMINAR (VTC) WPNS 2021
MUARA, 15th December 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) attended the Naval Medicine Seminar held over 2 days from 14th December to 15th December 2021, under the ambit of the West Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) hosted by The People’s Liberation Army – Navy (PLA-N) held at Shanghai, China and virtually from each participants’ remote locations. Representatives on behalf of the Royal Brunei Navy were Lt Col (Dr) Isehardy bin Murni and Lt (Dr) Naqibah binti DP Ahmad Bukhari from Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Force and Lt JG Hjh Umi Kalsum binti Haji Roslan from Support Services Headquarters, RBN.
RBN CONDUCTS CLEANING CAMPAIGN OF MOSQUES IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF DIAMOND JUBILEE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 14th December 2021 – Amid the COVID-19 Transition Phase and reopening of mosques to the public, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has continued to conduct cleaning campaigns at mosques across all four districts this week as part of its community outreach activities in conjunction with RBAF’s Diamond Jubilee. Today the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted cleaning campaign at Kampong Pudak Mosque and Kampong Pelambayan Mosque.
KDB DARUTTAQWA SENDS DONATIONS AS AN EXTENSION OF BRUNEI’S GOODWILL TO THE ACEH COMMUNITY
KDB DARUTTAQWA made a logistic port of call to Belawan in Medan, Indonesia on 4 December 2021 after completing the first ASEAN-Russia Naval Exercise (ARNEX) 2021. As the exercise took place in the North of Sumatra, the Royal Brunei Navy took the opportunity to send donations for the Aceh community in Indonesia upon KDB DARUTTAQWA’s return voyage to Brunei Darussalam. The donations were initially handed over to KDB DARUTTAQWA from the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @Seruji prior to KDB DARUTTAQWA’s departure from Muara Naval Base on 25 November 2021.
KDB DARUTTAQWA RETURNS TO MUARA NAVAL BASE, BRUNEI AFTER ARNEX 2021
MUARA, Friday, 10 December 2021 – KDB DARUTTAQWA has safely came alongside RBN Jetty after completing a 16-day deployment to Belawan, Medan, Indonesia to participate in ASEAN Russia Naval Exercise (ARNEX) 2021. KDB DARUTTAQWA was received by the Fleet Commander, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman in a simple ceremony where Doa Selamat and Doa Kesyukuran were recited. The successful completion of this exercise marked a significant milestone in the development of defence relations between Russia and ASEAN.
INAUGURAL NAVY TO NAVY TALKS BETWEEN ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY AND ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY
MUARA, Wednesday, 8th December 2021 – The first Navy to Navy Talks (NTNT) between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) was held virtually at the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara Naval Base hosted by RAN.

MUARA, Tuesday, 07 December 2021 - First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, received a courtesy call from Colonel Zaenal Arifin, the outgoing Defence Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia and Colonel Doddy Suhadiman, the incoming Defence Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam at Bilik Pahlawan, Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters.
