ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS THE OPENING OF DIKIR MAULUD 1444H
MUARA, Monday, 26 September 2022 – To commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), express gratitude and love for the prophet as well as to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening of Dikir Maulud 1444 Hijrah. The event was conducted simultaneously across all RBAF Suraus and Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY (RBN) ATTENDS IPC AMNEX 02/2023 IN THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
PASAY CITY, MANILA, PHILIPPINES, 23 September 2022 – The Philippines Navy held an Initial Planning Conference (IPC) for the upcoming 2nd ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX) 02/2023 from Tuesday, 21 September until Friday, 23 September 2022. The meeting was conducted at the Heritage Hotel, Pasay City, Manila and was attended by representatives from the ASEAN Navies. AMNEX 02/2023 was conceived during the 8th ASEAN Navy Chief Meeting (ANCM) in 2014 and the inaugural exercise was conducted in Thailand in 2016. The purpose of the AMNEX is to promote maritime security among ASEAN countries to respond to common regional maritime issues through interoperability, maritime responsiveness and readiness within the Southeast Asian Region.

MUARA, Thursday, 15 September 2022 – Yang Mulia First Admiral Dato Seri Pahalwan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a courtesy call from Colonel Sanjeev Vijaykumar Sarma, Defence Adviser of the Republic of India to Malaysia, Accredited to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance was Mr. Ashok Kumar Yadav, Attaché (Pol & Com), High Commission of India to Brunei Darussalam.
COMMANDER RBN RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM DEFENCE ADVISER OF NIGERIA TO MALAYSIA ACCREDITED TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Monday, 12 September 2022 – Air Commodore Ehimen Aidemoata Ejodame, Defence Adviser of Nigeria to Malaysia, Accredited to Brunei Darussalam made an introductory call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HELD TREE PLANTING EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 61ST RBAF ANNIVERSARY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 09 September 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy held a tree planting event this afternoon in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 61st anniversary where 60 trees consisting of Tabebuia Rosea and Bucida Molinetti trees were planted across Muara Naval Base. The event was held concurrently across all RBAF camps in collaboration with the Forestry Department and the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2022 FINAL MATCH
MUARA, Thursday, 08 September 2022 –Football Championship organized by Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) started on Monday, 05 September 2022 to Thursday, 08 September 2022. Armada ‘B’ finished the Royal Brunei Navy Football Championship as champions, with Royal Brunei Headquarters (RBN HQ) taking runners up position followed by Armada ‘A’ taking the third place. The league was divided into 2 groups consisting of units from RBN HQ, Combat Service & Support, Base Defence, Naval Training Centre, Armada ‘A’ & ‘B’.
