GIANT NATIONAL FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY TO MARK BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’S 39TH NATIONAL DAY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 16 February 2023 - The 39th National Day celebration began with a giant national flag hoisting ceremony in the capital. The raising of the giant national flag was officiated by The Honourable Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohammad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 49TH BIRTHDAY OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE CROWN PRINCE
MUARA, Thursday, 16 February 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently held a doa kesyukuran ceremony at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, in commemoration of the 49th Birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzuddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
ACTING COMMANDER RBN RECEIVES COURTESY CALL BY UNITED STATES COAST GUARD ATTACHÉ
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 10 February 2023 – Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, received a courtesy call from Commander Trevor E. Parra, United States Coast Guard Attaché whilst in Brunei accompanying representatives of the International Port Security Programme (IPSP). Also present were, Lieutenant Commander Samuel Kim, Chief, Office of Defence Cooperation at the US Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, Chief of Staff RBN, and Staff Officer Grade 3 Naval Research Cell.
HANDOVER CEREMONY OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY SENIOR RATES’ PRESIDENT MESS COMMITTEE
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, Friday, 10th February 2023. The Handover Ceremony was held at the Petty Officer, Chief Petty Officer and Warrant Officer Mess, Royal Brunei Navy (Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN) where a new President Mess Committee (PMC) for the Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN was appointed.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 07 February 2023 – Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a courtesy call from Commander Ishikawa Kiyoshi, Defence Attaché of Japan to Malaysia Accredited to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Wada Toshifumi, the Second Secretary of the Japanese Embassy for Defence Cooperation to Brunei Darussalam, and the Chief of Staff, RBN.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 07 February 2023 – Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Colonel Thongvanh Sengvongchith, Defence Attaché of Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Malaysia Accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
