ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS SUNAT HAJAT PRAYER TO BLESS KDB DARUTTAQWA’S AND KDB AFIAT’S UPCOMING DEPLOYMENT
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 04 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Sunat Hajat prayer prior to the Asar prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, in conjunction with the upcoming deployment to participate in ASEAN MULTILATERAL NAVAL EXERCISE 2/2023 and ASEAN FLEET REVIEW 2023 in the Philippines. The RBN ships participating in the exercises and fleet review are KDB DARUTTAQWA and KDB AFIAT, which are scheduled to depart Muara Naval Base on 08th May 2023 and return on 19th May 2023.
KDB DARUSSALAM COMPLETES DECK LANDING QUALIFICATION WITH BLACK HAWK HELICOPTER
BRUNEI WATERS, Thursday, 4th May 2023 - The Royal Brunei Navy’s KDB DARUSSALAM has successfully completed an intensive week of deck landing qualification (DLQ) training and has produced a confident and capable team of flight deck helicopter operators in receiving and launching the Royal Brunei Airforce’s S-70i Black Hawk Helicopter from Monday, 1st May 2023 until Thursday, 4th May 2023.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CONTINUES BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN IN COMMEMORATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 57TH ANNIVERSARY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 03 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has conducted the 5th blood donation campaign to commemorate RBN’s 57th Anniversary and address the critical shortage of blood supply in local hospitals. The campaign aims to encourage more people to donate blood and help save lives in which a total of eighty-two (82) RBN personnel participated today.
JS URAGA AND JS AWAJI OF THE JAPAN MARITIME SELF DEFENCE FORCE DEPARTS BRUNEI DARUSSALAM AFTER GOODWILL VISIT
MUARA, Tuesday, 2 May 2023 – JS URAGA and JS AWAJI of the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) departed Muara after a goodwill visit to Brunei Darussalam from 30 April to 02 May 2023 led by Captain Nakai Eiichi, Commander of Minesweeper Division 1. Their departure was accompanied by a farewell ceremony organised by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) led by Commander Malek Fadillah bin Pehin Dato Haji Kefli, RBN, Acting Fleet Chief of Staff.
JS URAGA AND JS AWAJI OF THE JAPAN MARITIME SELF DEFENCE FORCE ARRIVES IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM FOR GOODWILL VISIT
MUARA, Sunday, 30 April 2023 – JS URAGA and JS AWAJI of the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) has arrived at Muara Commercial Port for a goodwill visit to Brunei from 30 April to 02 May 2023 led by Captain Nakai Eiichi, Commander of Minesweeper Division 1, JMSDF.
KDB DARULEHSAN SETS SAIL TO REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL MARITIME DEFENCE EXHIBITION (IMDEX) AND ASEAN-INDIA MARITIME EXERCISE (AIME) 2023
MUARA, Thursday, 27 April 2023 – KDB DARULEHSAN set sail to embark on a 14-day deployment to participate in the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) held in the Republic of Singapore and to participate in the inauguration of the ASEAN-India Maritime Exercise (AIME).
