EX HORNBILL 29/2023 INITIAL PLANNING CONFERENCE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 02 June 2023 – The Initial Planning Conference (IPC) for Exercise HORNBILL 29/2023 was successfully conducted through online video teleconference (VTC) at the Nakhoda Ragam Meeting Room, Naval Training Centre (NTC), Muara. The two-day conference was hosted by the Royal Brunei Navy and led by Lieutenant Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB DARULAMAN, as the chairman for this year’s exercise. The 29th series of Exercise HORNBILL is planned to be held from 23rd October 2023 to 27th October 2023 in Brunei.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 30 May 2023 – Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a courtesy call from Colonel Seongkyun Lee, Defence Attaché of the Republic of Korea Accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
SUNAT HAJAT PRAYER IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES’ 62ND ANNIVERSARY GRAND PARADE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 30 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Sunat Hajat prayer prior to the Asar prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ 62nd Anniversary Grand Parade to be held tomorrow at the Rimba Air Force Base, Royal Brunei Air Force.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY HELD IN SURAU AL-HUDA IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 62ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 30 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at Surau Al-Huda, RBN. Present during the ceremony was Captain Khairil Hj Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and ratings of the RBN.

LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA Wednesday, 24 May 2023 – The Opening Ceremony for the Langkawi International Maritime Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA ’23) took place on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) Langkawi, Malaysia. The opening of LIMA 2023, themed, “The Nexus of Asia’s Maritime and Aerospace Trade” was officiated by the Most Honourable Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohammad bin Haji Hasan, Defence Minister of Malaysia. Attending on behalf of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was the Acting Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN accompanied by Commander Shahairil bin Hj Mohd Shahlan, RBN, Lieutenant Commander Abdul Aiman bin Hj Abdul Rahman, RBN and Lieutenant Junior Grade Awg Muhd Bakhit bin Awg Hj Mohammed, RBN.
