DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 77TH BIRTHDAY OF HIS MAJESTY SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MUI’ZZADDIN WADDAULAH, SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 14 July 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the 77th birthday celebrations of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mui’zzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was held at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PARTICIPATES IN THE UNIVERSITI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM CAREER FAIR 2023
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Friday, 14 July 2023 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Career Fair 2023 held from 12th July 2023 until 13th July 2023 at the Chancellor Hall, UBD. The event was organised by the UBD Career Centre, the Centre of Networking, Employment and Career Training (CoNECT) to serve as a platform for graduates and jobseekers to engage with potential employers. Present as the Guest of Honour during the Opening Ceremony was Dr. Haji Azman bin Ahmad, permanent secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Education.
BASE DEFENCE CONDUCTS EXERCISE PENJURU – FINAL EXERCISE FOR INTERMEDIATE BASE DEFENCE COURSE
FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison, Friday 14 July 2023 – Base Defence, Royal Brunei Navy, conducted Exercise PENJURU at FIBUA Village, Penanjong Garrison as the final exercise for the Intermediate Base Defence Course held over 5 days from 11 July 2023 to 14 July 2023.

Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 34 senior officers
of Royal Armed Forces Brunei (RBAF) have been promoted today, 02 of which
were from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Commander Nor Ariwwin bin Mohd Ali, RBN
promoted to Captain, RBN and Acting Commander Pg Norkumilasari binti Pg Hj
Azahari, RBN to Commander, RBN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL PROMOTION CEREMONY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 14 July 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony for 107 Senior and Junior Ratings held at the RBN Senior Rates’ Mess and at Dewan Samudera for junior rates. 44 were promoted to the rank of Petty Officer, 21 were promoted to the rank of Leading Hand, and 42 were promoted to the rank of Able Rate.
