MUARA, Wednesday, 14 March 2018 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed Keriam Primary School, Tutong consisted of 26 students with their respective guardians support staff led by Cikgu Rasiah binit Hj Md Tuddin. The visit is part of the school’s program to expand their knowledge about RBN.
The tour commenced at the Multi-National Coordination Centre, Naval Training Center. The group was welcomed by Lieutenant Dk Lyadia Ulandari binti Pg Hj Mohammad, RBN. This was followed by a short brief of RBN’s roles, missions and assets.
After the brief the group were brought to Jetty Bravo where they had the opportunity to have a ship tour onboard KDB DARUTTAQWA. The group was welcomed by the Assistant Warfare Officer Lieutenant Zulyamin bin Awg Md Noor, RBN where they were given the opportunity to tour the ship with the guide of the ship officers and crew. They were taken into the Bridge, Ratings Mess, Sickbay and Rigid Inflatable Craft (RIC) deck.
Overall, it was a brief experience of the working environment onboard a RBN ship.
