MUARA, Tuesday, 21 March 2018 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad received an introductory call from Colonel Ozer Caliskan, the Military Attache at the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur accredited to Brunei Darussalam, at the Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters, Muara.
During the courtesy call, the Commander of RBN welcome the Military Attaché and congratulate him on his new appointment. RBN Commander also expressed appreciation Turkey’s continued support in the international defence events organised by Brunei Darussalam.
Both sides also mentioned to further deepen and strengthen the relationship of two armed forces in the future, taking the opportunity RBN Commander also encouraged further RBN – Turkish Navy interaction through future port visits and naval exercises.
Colonel Ozer Caliskan became Military Attache at the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur accredited to Brunei Darussalam since September 2017, replacing Colonel Murat Sekizkardes.
