– Fleet Concentration Period (FCP) began on 09 April 2018, officially ended this morning with a closing ceremony at Nakhoda Hall, Muara Naval Training Centre officiated by Captain Spry bin Haji Serudi@Haji Seruji, Fleet Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).

This year, the exercise started with Phase 1 on Operational Planning, conducted by the fleet officers as Exercise Planners. Ships inspection was also conducted to enhance operational status and administration during daily routine. Meanwhile, Phase 2 was the Field Training Exercise (FTX) provided invaluable opportunities for participated ships to enhance mutual cooperations and understandings through the practice of operational doctrines, procedures and tactics. The FTX Phase started off with different scenario injects that prompted Operation Awkward from all Fleet units. Among the main exercises conducted were Fleet Call-Out and Exercise Awkward, followed by Operational Tactical Training (OTT). The closing ceremony Exercise Report was delivered by Head of Lead Team, Lieutenant Commander Hj Mohammad Arnold bin Hj Osman in which all objectives of this year’s FCP were achieved.

The main aim for the FCP this year is to build-up capacity on Operational Planning Process at operational and tactical level and exercise maritime warfare procedural tactics in order to maintain preparedness and readiness of the Fleet.
