Muara, Wednesday 9 March 2016 - This morning the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has held Eclipse Sunnat Prayer at Surau Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei. This event was headed by Imam Zakaria bin Haji Jalin, Imam Surau TLDB that was conducted intended to seek mercy and blessings from Allah Subhannahu Wata’ala upon this rare sun’s eclipse.
The event was attended by the RBN Commander, First Admiral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Hj Muhammad, senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN. After the prayer, to conclude the event a sermon was also given in conjunction with the rare phenomenon and a supplication to seek blessing form Allah SWT. This event will be conducted every time when there is Sun’s eclipse which happen once in every four years.
