MUARA, Sunday, 19 November 2017 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening ceremony of its Dikir Maulud celebration at Surau Al-Huda, RBN. Present at the ceremony was the Deputy Commander of the RBN, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The ceremony began with the mass Maghrib prayers, Dikir Marhaban and mass Isyak prayers. The Zikir will be held continuously for 12 nights until 1st December, the night before Prophet’s birthday celebrations on 12 Rabiul Awal.
Similar ceremonies also took place at mosques and suraus throughout the country.
