MUARA, Wednesday, 7 March 2018 – A delegation from the 47th Pakistan Navy Staff Course made a study tour to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base earlier today. Present to officiate the study visit was Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, Assistant Chief of Staff Operation RBN at the Naval Training Centre (NTC), RBN Base.
The delegation was given a brief presentation on the roles of RBN and were also shown a short video illustrating RBN’s achievements during the last 50 years. The highlight of the study tour was the discussion session where the delegation was invited to present questions to the Commanding Officer of Naval Training, Commander Pengiran Omaralli bin Pengiran Jaya Indera Pengiran Haji Mokhtar Puteh, RBN; Commanding Officer of Maintenance RBN, Commander Hj Norbahrin bin Hj Muamad, RBN and Assistant Chief of Staff Operation RBN, Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN.
Following the presentation was a short tour on board KDB DARULEHSAN. They were given a familiarisation tour which covered areas such as the Bridge, CIC, Rhic Deck, Sick Bay, Wardroom and Cabins. This also includes Fire Fighting Equipment display
The delegation from the 47th Pakistan Navy Staff Course, consisting of 14 students and 3 directing staff, are in Brunei Darussalam as part of their five-day study tour from 5 to 9 March 2018.
