Muara, Tuesday 11 November 2014. In conjunction with the Exercise CARAT 2014, the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Hj Mohd Tamit today welcomed Rear Admiral Charles Williams, Commander Logistic Group Western Pacific (COMLOGWESPAC) at a call at the Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters, Muara.
 
Present at the call were Captain Fred W. Kacher, Commander Destroyer Squadron 7 and Commander Todd E. Whalen the Commanding Officer of USS Rodney M. Davis.
 
During the call the Commander of RBN and Rear Admiral Charles Williams agreed that the practical cooperation is an imperative mechanism to enhance the bilateral ties between two navies.
 
COMLOGWESPAC mentioned that the US navy is currently exploring new initiative to exploit CARAT to further elevate the established ties with Royal Brunei Armed Forces to a higher level.The United States Navy ship, USS Rodney M. Davis, is currently in Negara Brunei Darussalam from 09 November till 15 November 2014 and will be participating in the exercise with RBN.
