MUARA, Wednesday 02 Aug 2017 - The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad received a courtresy call from Vice Admiral Ray Griggs, the Vice Chief of the Defence Force, Australian Defence.
During the call, the Commander of RBN expressed his pleasure for the warm and friendly bilateral defence relations between the two countries. The visit also touched on the continued strengthening of defense relations between both countries and on working together on other possible areas of defence cooperation, particularly naval cooperation. This was a great opportunity for both countries to further strengthen bilateral relationships and plan ahead for future activities.
Subsequently, Vice Admiral Ray Griggs accompanied by Commander Spry bin Haji Serudi@Seruji, Fleet Commander RBN went for a ship tour onboard Patrol Vessel KDB DARUSSALAM. The Admiral was briefed on the ship’s capabilities and also witnessed the Rigid Inflatable Craft launching before concluded the tour.
