Lumut, Tuesday 25 November 2014 – Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit made a visit to Lumut Naval Base, Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) using a naval aircraft.
 
His arrival was received by the Fleet Commander and senior officers of the Lumut Naval Base.
 
The Commander of RBN was subsequently briefed at the Meeting Room of Fleet Defence Headquarters, followed by a curry lunch hosted by the Fleet Commander at Wisma Samudera.
 
Additionally, the Commander of RBN was given a tour around the Lumut Naval Base which included the Paskal and KD Duyong Headquaters.
 
The visit by the Commander of RBN in Malaysia is hoped to increase and strengthen the cooperation and understanding between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. Furthermore, the visit marked his first official visit to RMN after being appointed the position of the Commander of RBN on the 28 February 2014.
