MUARA, Friday, 3 November 2017 – The Instructor Course batch 2/2017 was conducted by the the combination from Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) and Defense Counsel International (DCI) Services & Assistance NAVFCO Department (DCI-NAVFCO, and concluded with a closing ceremony held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC) at the Muara Naval Base. Present as a guest of honor was the Commandant of Naval Training School, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Zilhusam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN.
The Instructor Course was a 4-weeks course, which commenced on 09 October and ened on 03 November 2017. The course was participated by 8 personnel from RBN – 2 Officers and 6 Senior Ranks. The closing ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Rafiuddin bin Haji Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN.
After recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Mr Rémi Blosse, the course manager from DCI-NAVFCO gave the opening remarks followed by congratulate all participants who successfully completed the course. The Guest of Honour handed certificates to all the participants including certificates of Merit that awarded to 887 Lt JG Mahdini bin Sabli, RBN and 929 Lt Md Shahrul Idham bin Hj Bungsu, RBN while the course manager presented the course badges.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat and a group photo session. This ceremony was also attended by RBN officers and personnel from NTC.
