BERAKAS, Wednesday 24 May 2017 – 8 personnel from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) completed their Unarmed Combat Course which was conducted by Military Police of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The closing ceremony took place at Berakas Forest Reserve Recreation Park.
Presents as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Haji Abdul Hadi bin Haji Saim, the Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, who formally gave the unarmed combat certificates and badge to the candidates.
Other than RBN, the course was also participated by other agencies, such as Royal Police Brunei Force (RBPF), Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and Royal Brunei Airforce (RBAirF) with a total of 19 candidates. The course was a 8-weeks course, which commenced on 4th April and ended on 24th May 2017.
It was a pride to the RBN as one of the candidates, 19729 Able Rate Mohd Qamarul Nur Sadiqin bin Haji Hassan, RBN managed to get the best overall from this course.
