Muara Base, Friday 19 September 2014 – A promotion ceremony of Senior Non Commissioned Officers (NCO) and Junior NCOs of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel was held at the Warrant Officers & Sergeants’ Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to the 65 RBN Personnel was the acting Royal Brunei Navy Commander, Colonel (L) Pengiran Norazmi Bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.The list of promoted personnel is as follows: 27 received acting Sergeant, 14 received the acting Corporal, and 24 people received Acting Lance Corporal. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Lieutenant (L) Ahmad Zubir Bin Abdul Nasir.Also present for the ceremony were RBN senior officers, officers NCOs and family members of the promoted personnel. The ceremony ended with a “Doa Selamat” by Lieutenant (L) Ahmad Zubair and a light refreshment.
