MUARA, Tuesday, 20 February 2018 - A promotion ceremony for the 58 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to the RBN Personnel was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
The list of promoted personnel are as follows, 1 personnel received substantive Chief Petty Officer, 8 acting Petty Officer, 29 acting Leading Handing and 20 Able Rate. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin bin Hj Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat and light refreshments. Also present during the ceremony were RBN senior officers, officers, RBN personnel and family members of the promoted personnel.
