KUALA LUMPUR, Wednesday, 07 Dec – The 3rd NWG meeting between Royal Brunei Navy(RBN) and Royal Malaysia Navy (RMN) was successfully held from 06 to 07 December 2016 at Wisma Perwira, Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (WP ATM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This is the third in the series of meeting conducted between both navies. This year meeting was hosted by RMN.
The 3rd NWG was co-chaired by RBN Chief of Staff, Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN and Director of Exercise and International Relations, Captain Roslan bin Mohd Yunus, RMN.
In attendance were officers from both navies. The meeting discussed on exercises, training, bilateral interaction, information sharing between both navies and also proposing to reviewed HORNBILL Exercise Training Instructions to suits the conduct of bilateral Ex HORNBILL which has now entered its 26th series.
RBN delegation also paid a courtesy call to Rear Admiral Dato’ Fadzilah bin Mohd Salleh, RMN who is the Assistant Chief of Staff Operations and Exercises.
