The ceremony marks an important step in the Navy’s ongoing personnel development programme, as the newly trained recruits prepare to formally commence their service in support of the RBN’s operational readiness and long-term force sustainability.

| RBN DEMONSTRATES COMMITMENT TO COLLECTIVE MARITIME SECURITY IN ASEAN–US MARITIME EXERCISE 2025 | BATAM, INDONESIA – 16 DECEMBER 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently participated in the 2nd ASEAN–United States Maritime Exercise (AUMX) 2025 with the deployment of KDB DARULAMAN, reaffirming Brunei Darussalam’s commitment to regional maritime cooperation and collective security. The exercise brought together naval forces from ASEAN member states and the United States, including assets from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the United States Navy, reflecting a broad multilateral effort to enhance maritime collaboration.
