RBN LOOKS TO INSPIRE YOUTH BY BUILDING INTEREST IN MARITIME DEFENCE FOR THE FUTURE

MUARA NAVAL BASE, THURSDAY, 11 DECEMBER 2025 – Today, a total of 55 visitors from the Jemaah Muslimah, Belia, Beliawanis and Muslimah Masjid groups of the Surau Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Brunei conducted a visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). As part of the engagement programme, participants were brought onboard KDB DARULEHSAN to experience the Navy’s operational environment and life onboard the ships.


ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOSTS 3RD NAVY STAFF TALKS WITH RUSSIAN NAVY

MUARA NAVAL BASE, WEDNESDAY, 10 DECEMBER 2025 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted the 3rd Navy Staff Talks (NST) between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Russian Federation Navy from 9 to 12 December 2025 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral naval cooperation and professional military engagement between the two navies. Representing the RBN as Head of Delegation was Captain Mohammad Faizal Ezam bin Hj Abas, RBN, Chief of Staff, while the Russian Federation Navy delegation was led by Captain 1st Rank Kirill Moroz, Assistant To The Commander-In-Chief Of The RFN Navy For International Military Cooperation.







RUSSIAN NAVY SHIP GREMYASHCHIY PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

MUARA COMMERCIAL WHARF, 9–12 DECEMBER 2025 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) successfully hosted the official port visit of the Russian Navy ship GREMYASHCHIY from 9 to 12 December 2025 at Muara Commercial Port, Brunei Darussalam, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral naval relations and defence diplomacy.





STRENGTHENING A TRUSTED MARITIME PARTNERSHIP RBN–RSN HOLD 13TH NAVY-TO-NAVY TALKS IN BRUNEI 🇧🇳🤝🇸🇬

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Sunday, 7 December 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently hosted the 13th iteration of the Navy-to-Navy Talks (NTNT) with the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), marking another meaningful step in the long-standing defence relationship between both navies. The programme commenced with a Courtesy Call to the Acting Commander RBN, Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, by RSN Delegations led by Colonel Ooi Tjin Kai, Head of Naval Operations. The program was then followed by the opening of the 13th NTNT meeting at the Officers’ Mess. The RSN delegation also participated in cultural visits to Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Kampong Ayer, and the Eco-Corridor as part of the engagement programme.







PARTICIPATION IN THE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY-NAVY (PLA-N) TRAINING VOYAGE STRENGTHENS GRASSROOTS MARITIME FRIENDSHIP AND COOPERATION

JAKARTA, SUNDAY 7 DECEMBER 2025 – Two officers from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently embarked aboard the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) training ship Zheng He 81, as part of a multinational deployment from Malaysia to Indonesia. The Chinese naval task group — including Zheng He 81, alongside training vessel Xiangqianjin‑1 (pennant 88) and amphibious ship Changbaishan (989) — sailed from Port Klang, Malaysia through the Strait of Malacca and Singapore Strait, before arriving at Jakarta’s Tanjung Periok port.
