Marina Mandarin Hotel, Republic of Singapore, 3rd May 2018 – With this year’s theme “ASEAN Navies – Strengthening Cooperation, Building Resilience” the 12th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting (12th ANCM) Staff Meeting commenced from 2nd till 4th May 2018 at the Marina Mandarin Hotel, Republic of Singapore.
The Staff Meeting was officiated and chaired by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Augustine Lim, Head Naval Intelligence, Naval Intelligence Department, Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
The meeting reviewed the progress of the Joint Development of ANCM Roadmap and discussed the required arrangements as well as the overall programme for the 12th ANCM, which will be held from 2nd – 5th August 2018.
The Royal Brunei Navy was represented by Commander Sahibul Bahari bin Hj Zainal Abidin, RBN, Fleet Chief of Staff and Lieutenant Akramin bin Alidin, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 3 Intelligence.
Later in the evening, an Official Dinner for the 12th ANCM – Staff Meeting will be held to conclude the 12th ANCM Staff Meeting.
