MUARA, Friday, 17 July 2026 – The Naval Training Centre (NTC) presided over a promotion ceremony today, formally recognising the advancement of seven personnel within their respective ranks. The ceremony was officiated by the guest of honour, Commander Haji Edy Jofren bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, RBN, Commandant Naval Training Centre.
The promotion saw a diverse progression across the enlisted ranks, with three personnel elevated to the rank of Substantive Petty Officer and one personnel promoted from Acting Petty Officer to Substantive Petty Officer. Additionally, one member advanced from Able Rate to Substantive Leading Hand, one transitioned from Acting Able Rate to Permanent Able Rate, and one was appointed from Able Rate to Acting Leading Hand.
The proceedings commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and were attended by senior officers, RBN personnel, and the families of the promotees.
This ceremony underscores the Royal Brunei Navy’s unwavering commitment to recognising the dedication, professionalism, and operational excellence of its sailors. These advancements serve as a testament to the personnel’s hard work, encouraging them to maintain the highest standards of integrity and discipline in their continued service to His Majesty, the religion, and the nation.
PUSAT LATIHAN TENTERA LAUT MENGADAKAN UPACARA KENAIKAN PANGKAT BAGI TUJUH ANGGOTA
MUARA, Jumaat, 17 Julai 2026 – Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), telah mengadakan Upacara Kenaikan Pangkat bagi tujuh orang anggota di Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut. Upacara tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat, Komander Haji Edy Jofren bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, TLDB, Komandan Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut.
Seramai tiga orang anggota telah dinaikkan pangkat ke Bintara Tetap, seorang anggota daripada Pemangku Bintara ke Bintara Tetap, seorang anggota daripada Laskar Muda ke Laskar Kanan Tetap, seorang anggota daripada Pemangku Laskar Muda ke Laskar Muda Tetap, dan seorang anggota daripada Laskar Muda ke Pemangku Laskar Kanan.
Upacara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan turut dihadiri oleh pegawai-pegawai, dan anggota TLDB serta ahli keluarga.
Upacara Kenaikan Pangkat ini mencerminkan komitmen berterusan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei dalam menghargai dedikasi, profesionalisme dan pencapaian anggotanya, di samping memberi galakan untuk terus mengekalkan kecemerlangan dalam melaksanakan amanah dan tanggungjawab kepadaa Raja, agama dan negara.
