Muara, Wednesday, 30 November 2016 – In conjunction of commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (PBUH), The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Officers and personnel began the first night of Dikir Syarafil Anam events to mark the beginning of Dikir Syarafil Anam. The Dikir Syarafil Anam will be held continuously for 12 nights until 11 December 2016.
The opening ceremony of Dikir Syarafil Anam in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi celebration for 1438 Hijrah was officiated this evening by the Fleet Commander, Commander Spry bin Haji Seruji, RBN at the Royal Brunei Navy surau in Muara Camp.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of surah Al-Ahzab verse 21 to 25 by Able Rate Abd Azim bin Ahmad Fadzillah, RBN. It was later followed by congregation of Maghrib prayer, the mass recital of Dikir which later proceeded with the Fardhu Isyak prayer.
Present at the opening of Dikir recital ceremony were, RBN Chief of Staff, RBN Senior Officers and personnel of RBN.
